Here is a man that loves to write music. Chris has been composing, arranging and orchestrating since the early 70’s. His music can be heard on film, television, symphonic concerts and on stages throughout the world. Chris was awarded Best Original Score from a Los Angeles Film Festival for the film On Growing Older as well as being presented with the Harry Warren / ASCAP Composition Award for a symphonic composition he wrote in 1997.

As Chris continues to write and arrange for orchestras, concert and jazz bands, vocal ensembles and soloist, he is now putting his skills to the task of writing music for the High School and College arenas. Although good music does exist for these young people, a lot of what is out there falls short of any challenge for them. His catalogue of instrumental solo and ensemble music includes piano accompaniment and is written for medium to advanced level of proficiency. The melodies are refreshing and new and the accompaniment is written to give more life to the soloist.

Chris is an accompanist of the highest caliber. He understands how important it is to not only provide musical backing for the soloist, but to lend support with well thought out musical interplay and counter melodies.

His tailor made vocal arrangements will make the star in you shine! Chris uses his extensive knowledge of the jazz and rock idioms to create a fresh approach to harmony and rhythm. His arrangements are fun, challenging and a favorite of both the performers and audiences. His music has been compared to the sounds of Singers Unlimited, the harmonies of George Shearing and the hard “in the pocket” swing of Count Basie.
